Content: adidas superstar has been resurrecting a variety of vintage classics from its extensive archive this summer. Most recently we saw the return of the Gazelle silhouette, which appeared in a Vintage Suede pack and Perforation pack. Now the brand has resurrected the iconic Rod Laver sneaker in the aptly named Rod Lavery Super Pack.Created to honor the tennis superstar, the pack’s shoes are a near exact reproduction of the original. The chief difference in this iteration is a new supersoft PU outsole unit, one that arrives in two separate prints—a simple woven and a checkerboard. Both versions are offered in the OG white/navy colorway and feature the Rod Laver logo embossed on the heel tab. If for some reason you thought it was an exaggeration, the final numbers are now in, and they're even bigger than we could've imagined.According to the press release, adidas sold more than 15 million pairs of Superstars in 2015, making it its top-selling sneaker of the year.
